Introducing the USCHTA

The United States CBRN & HAZMAT Technician Association (USCHTA) has officially launched as the nation’s first organization uniting military CBRN technicians and public safety HAZMAT professionals. Operating as a division of the United States Bomb Technician Association and headquartered at the Bomb Disposal Technology & Training Center in Indian Head, Maryland, USCHTA provides no-cost advanced training, technology exposure, research access, and wellness support to active technicians nationwide. The association serves as the national Center of Excellence for the Joint Hazard Response Team program, fostering interoperability between EOD, CBRN, HAZMAT, and emergency management partners to address America’s evolving threat landscape.
